Jörn Follmer, was born in Landau (southern Germany) in 1966 and grew up in Berlin. After receiving his high school diploma, he studied business administration in Bavaria, completing his studies with an M.B.A. in Texas, USA in 1991. After three years experience as a management consultant at Kienbaum corporate consultants, he became partner and vice managing director of a medium-sized industrial holding dedicated to investing in former eastern German companies which were formerly held by the ‘Treuhand’ agency. Since 1997 he has continued to be self employed and has worked as the founder or manager of companies he has established. He specializes in strategically developing companies and initiating growth. Jörn Follmer sold the majority holding in one of his companies in 1997 – TK Group, which is listed on the NASDAQ and for which he is also the board member for telecommunications. This allowed him to gain a wealth of experience with SEC regulations and reporting.

As founder and CEO of a logistics company, he initiated and carried out its IPO on the EU regulated market (General Standard) in 2004/5. In the following two years on the board he was able to gain a close insight into post-IPO requirements.

Jörn Follmer also initiated and supported the listing of two key holdings on Deutsche Börse’s OPEN MARKET, in 2006 (IT refurbishment) and in 2007 (logistics), this time as an investor.

Since 2007, he has been responsible for overseeing and developing the listings/IPOs area of CdC Capital AG. Jörn Follmer also continues to operate as a business angel, on supervisory boards and in a charity role as a member of the Lions Club.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
 

Alexander Schwaab was born in Ludwigshafen on the Rhine in 1974. He studied business administration with focus on management and financial controlling. Mr. Schwaab started his career as an assistant to the managing board in the automotive industry. Thereafter he switched to a Stuttgart based biotech company where he was responsibly in charge of the managerial accounting and marketing department. Then he became the CFO of a Munich based media company. Finally Mr. Schwaab was active in the field of consulting when he got in contact to CdC Capital AG, were he was appointed to the managing board in December 2006. He founded the CdC subsidiary Trust Research GmbH in the same year which executed the research activities of the group until CdC Capital AG was restructured and renamed as NBIC Capital AG. Trust Research has taken over all operative activities of CdC Capital AG and therefore renamed as CdC Capital GmbH in 2011. Mr. Schwaab is managing partner of CdC Capital GmbH.

In addition Mr. Schwaab is member of several supervisory and shareholder boards, managed the reorganization of a CdC investment as an interim CEO for two years and is managing partner of the Private Equity company vio Fonds GmbH.
 
 
 
 

Maximilian J. Brandl was born in Würzburg in 1977. After completing a clerical vocational training program and gaining a degree in business administration, Maximilian Brandl operated freelance in the financial services sector, specializing in financial consulting and analysis.

He co-founded CdC Capital AG in 2005 and was appointed to the Executive Board in June 2006. During his time at CdC Capital AG, Maximilian J. Brandl has supported more than a dozen capital measures and numerous IPOs. In addition to his position on the CdC Capital AG Executive Board, Maximilian J. Brandl is also member of the Supervisory Board of Niemeyer Consult AG.
